Cookie policy

uk.pedestal.com uses cookies and similar technologies. When you visit the site for the first time, you choose in the cookie banner which categories you accept. Until you choose, only strictly necessary cookies are set. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via ‘Cookie Settings’ at the bottom of the page.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer, tablet or phone so that the website can recognise your device, remember your settings, compile statistics and measure advertising. Cookies cannot contain malicious code such as viruses. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, are covered by this policy in the same way.

Categories

  • Strictly necessary: required for the site to work, for example your cart, checkout, language and country selection and your cookie choice. These are always on. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site.
  • Statistics: help us understand how the site is used, for example Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Marketing: used to measure our campaigns and show you relevant ads on other platforms, for example Meta, Google Ads, Pinterest, TikTok and Klaviyo. Legal basis: your consent.

The complete and current list of cookies, with provider, purpose and retention period, is shown in the cookie banner under ‘Show details’. You can open the banner at any time via ‘Cookie Settings’.

Third parties

Statistics and marketing cookies are set by third parties who may combine the data with other information they hold about you. Some of these providers are established outside the UK and the EEA, in particular in the United States. Transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations, including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum.

How to delete or block cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block cookies, some parts of the site may not work as intended, and the ads you see may become less relevant.

Personal data

How we process personal data, including data collected via cookies, is described in our privacy policy.
